Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This policy explains what information Broadcastly collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what we will never do with it. It covers both people who contact us with an enquiry and customers who share contact lists with us so we can run a WhatsApp broadcast on their behalf.

Who we are

Broadcastly is a WhatsApp broadcasting service operating in India. You can reach us at support@broadcastly.co.in or on 8227042970 with any question about this policy or about information we hold.

Information we collect

We collect two clearly separate kinds of information.

1. Your enquiry details. Our enquiry form asks for two things only: your name and your mobile number.

Everything else comes up afterwards, in the conversation that follows by phone, WhatsApp or email, and only if you choose to share it:

2. Contact lists you share with us. To run a campaign we need the list you want it sent to. That file typically holds recipients' phone numbers and, where you want personalised messages, their names. This information belongs to you. We are only processing it on your instructions.

Our enquiry form is hosted on Google Forms, so responses are stored in Google's systems and are also covered by Google's own privacy terms.

How we use it

What we will never do

These are commitments, not preferences:

How long we keep it

Contact lists are kept only as long as we need them to run your campaign and hand you the delivery report. After that we delete them, and you can ask us to delete a list sooner — we'll confirm once it's done.

Enquiry details and correspondence are kept while you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have a record of what was agreed. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.

Who else sees it

Sending a WhatsApp message necessarily involves WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, so message content and recipient numbers pass through their systems and are subject to their terms. Beyond that, we share information only with the service providers we need to operate — for example the form and email tools we use — and only to the extent they need it to do their job. We will also disclose information if a valid legal order requires it.

Security

Contact list files are kept on access-controlled accounts, limited to the people working on your campaign, and removed once the campaign is complete. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise, but we keep the number of people and systems touching your data as small as we practically can.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

Email support@broadcastly.co.in and we'll action it. If you're on a list one of our customers sent us and you want to be removed, write to us and we'll pass the request to that customer and drop you from any campaign still to run.

Consent and the lists you send us

If you're our customer, you're responsible for having the recipients' consent to message them. Your list should be people who gave you their number in the course of dealing with you — your students, parents, customers or enquirers. Please don't send us purchased or scraped lists. We don't send to them, and doing so gets numbers blocked and reported.

Children

Our service is sold to businesses and educators, not to children. Where an institute or tutor messages a student, we expect the number on the list to be a parent's or guardian's, or a student old enough to have given their own number.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated to active customers directly.
